The idea
A flock, not a monolith.
The name comes from boids, the flocking model where a handful of simple local rules produce complex, coordinated behaviour. That is how we think enterprise AI should be built.
Most enterprise AI stalls in the same place: a single, sprawling assistant is asked to know everything, prove nothing, and never break. It cannot be tested, cannot be explained, and cannot be trusted with a real business process.
We build the opposite. Small, bounded agents that each do one job well, speak the open A2A and MCP protocols, and compose into systems that solve problems no single agent could. Every agent is replaceable, observable and independently verifiable.
Because a system you cannot see is a system you cannot operate, telemetry is not an afterthought. It ships from day one. Every prompt, tool call, token and failure is traced, so you can answer what did the agent do, why, and what did it cost before anyone in the business has to ask.
And we do it inside the SAP ecosystem rather than beside it, on SAP BTP and AI Core, native to Joule, grounded in S/4HANA data, respecting the governance and authorizations you already run. From use-case analysis through to production.

What does Boidra do?
Boidra designs, builds and operates AI systems inside the SAP ecosystem. That covers Gen AI Hub applications on SAP AI Core, custom SAP Joule agents, bespoke chat assistants and copilots, and multi-agent systems built on the open A2A and MCP protocols, all with telemetry from day one.
What is a multi-agent system in the SAP context?
Instead of one large assistant that tries to do everything, a multi-agent system is a set of small bounded agents that each do one job well and communicate over open protocols such as A2A and MCP. Each agent is independently testable, replaceable and observable, which makes the overall system safe to run against real business processes in SAP S/4HANA.
Does Boidra work with on-premise SAP systems?
Yes. SAP Joule itself is cloud-only, but Boidra builds custom A2A agents on SAP BTP that work with on-premise and private-cloud S/4HANA, and stay interoperable with Joule for when you move to cloud.
